Administrative Assistant to the C.O.O.

General responsibilities include:
Assisting the Chief Operating Officer by:
Coordinating schedules, setting meetings, and interfacing with on-site staff, national church leadership and local congregations
Creating and processing documents and reports, maintaining policies and procedures, answering telephones, filing correspondence and documents
Making hospitality arrangements for board meetings, ministry conferences, etc. and overseeing their successful execution
Purchasing supplies
Processing applications from local churches relating to property ownership, risk management, including the creation and maintenance of spreadsheets
Providing oversight of receptionists and serving in that capacity approximately 6 hours per week
Other duties as requested
Qualifications include:
Faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to the values of the church as expressed in Chapter Three of the Free Methodist Book of Discipline
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Verbal and written communication skills, confidentiality, and the ability to relate well with people
Ability to multi-task and use time wisely
Experience with, and mastery of, Microsoft Office Suite
