The Board of Bishops is pleased to announce the creation of The Center for Pastoral Formation. This new venture is a cooperative arrangement between FMCUSA and Greenville University, fully funded by an endowment from the family of Bishop Emeritus Donald N. Bastian. As of today, we are launching a search for the Director of the Center,  with qualifications listed in the attachment. This position encompasses the former role of the Director of Ministerial Development and Credentialing, with a wide scope and a broad mandate to partner with every Annual Conference in the crucial task of raising up new leaders, overseeing the development of each one’s “head, heart, and hands,” and preparing them for consecration as Conference Deacons or ordination as Elders.
