Tonasket Free Methodist Church is a growing church of 150. As a body we seek to be a growing community of Christ followers who love God and love others. Our prayer is that we would live by faith, be known by love, and be a voice of hope in the Tonasket area and throughout the world. Recently we have seen great spiritual and numeric growth in our younger families and are seeking to expand the ways in which we cultivate the faith of these new generations that are the future of the church. Currently we offer Sunday School and AWANA programs for younger children, an active middle school outreach ministry and a rapidly growing high school girls Bible study. We are seeking to hire a Pastor of Children’s and Youth Ministry that can help expand and enhance our ministries. We desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community.

Tonasket, Washington, is a city of about 1,000 people located on US-97 in the northern Okanogan River Valley, about 20 miles from the Canadian border. A deeply rural but culturally diverse community, its population includes ranchers, orchardists, an active arts community, educators and health care workers. The area features ready access to hiking, fishing, and hunting in nearby state and national forests; a school district that includes nationally renowned FFA and robotics programs; a hospital in the midst of downtown; and a number of community events year-round.
